Carry & reciprocity

Reciprocity law updates

Every real change to CaliberBase Vault's reciprocity data, dated and linked to the official source it came from — not a mirror of every routine review, just what actually changed. Two-letter code links straight to the notice; state-by-state current status lives on the reciprocity map.

August 2026

  • TN Corrected: Tennessee's permitless carry is 21+, not a flat 18 as this map previously showed — 18-20 year-olds qualify only with active-duty/reserve service or veteran status.
  • KY Kentucky now issues a provisional concealed-carry license to 18-20 year-olds (HB 312, effective mid-July 2026) — valid only in Kentucky; permitless carry is still 21+.
  • NY Corrected an error in our New York entry: the "90-day active-duty military" exception we listed isn't current law — New York honors no out-of-state permits, full stop.
  • WI Corrected: Wisconsin honors a non-resident Florida or Virginia permit but NOT a resident one from either state — this map previously showed both as honored.
